The Ritz Carlton

What’s To Love About The Ritz Carlton | Coconut Grove

Completed in 2002, The Ritz Carlton Residences is located just steps away from all of the shops and restaurants in Coconut Grove. It is made up of 2 towers each consisting of 22 floors. The first tower is located at 3350 SW 27th Avenue and is where you will find the hotel (and some condo residences). The second tower is made up of only condo units and located at 3400 SW 27th Avenue. In total, there are 215 units in both towers. The buildings were designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates.

The Ritz-Carlton offers the services and amenities that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Residents enjoy a 24 hour concierge, valet parking, room service, heated pool, spa, gym and much more. The Commodore Club, which is located on the ground level of the Ritz Carlton is a favorite hangout among locals. This indoor lounge and bar is a great place to hear live music and catch up with friends after work. Named after the legendary Ralph Middleton Munroe, it is a nod to Coconut Grove's rich history.

In February of 2016, Gencom, the previous owners of The Ritz Carlton sold the hotel portion to Hersha Hospitality Trust for $36 million dollars. The deal included 115 hotel rooms but excluded the condo portion. The hotel rooms were renovated in 2019 with new furnishings and locally sourced art inspired by Coconut Grove's surroundings.
