On Tuesday our team had a private presentation of the new waterfront condo building going up on East Glencoe Street in North Coconut Grove. “The Fairchild” has been designed by the award-winning architecture firm of [STRANG] in conjunction with interior designer Albert De Cardenas. I am very excited about this project because it will truly capture the essence of Coconut Grove. The building has a modern design with accents of natural materials which add a lot of warmth. The project is expected to break ground in March/April of 2017 and be completed during the summer of 2018. There are 26 units total which range in size from 1,700 square feet to 4,1114 square feet. There are boat slips available for sale starting at $250,000 per slip.
Check out The Fairchild’s promotional video which discusses how the project is inspired by Coconut Grove’s history, lifestyle and our lush flora & fauna. There are some great shots of our beautiful community, testimonials about life in the Grove and an interview with Arva Moore Parks our beloved local historian.

The interior spaces at The Fairchild were designed to be the ultimate sanctuary. Natural stone floors, 11′ and 13′ ceilings, solid wood doors, LED lighting, modern bathroom and walk-in closets. The chef inspired, professional kitchen has Wolf gas powered ranges with standard and convection ovens, steam ovens, stainless steel Sub Zero refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers and ice makers.
The developers have gone all out with over the top amenities including rooftop pool on the Sunrise deck, private fitness studio, Hammam Spa, meditation gardens, dog park (the building allows 2 pets per unit with no restriction on size), 24 hour concierge, porter, paddle board storage, exterior storage for every unit and most units have service quarters (in addition to the bedroom/bathroom count).
