Casa Bahia In Camp Biscayne Hits The Market For $50 Million
CASA BAHIA, CAMP BISCAYNE
Casa Bahia, a 13,483 square foot tropical modern masterpiece has just hit the market for a whopping $50 million (the second most expensive listing in Miami). Designed by film-maker and first time designer Alejandro Landes, the home has spectacular bay views with floor to ceiling glass, wraparound terraces and a rooftop deck. Some of the unique architectural details include an exposed exoskeleton which is wrapped in teak and a floating staircase suspended over a pool of water. Casa Bahia offers 518 linear feet of waterfront, with a 73 foot heated pool.
The property is owned by Colombian interior designer Catalina Echaverria. She created several custom pieces for the house which are included in the price. Echaverria reportedly spent $340,000 on the minimalist 470 sq. ft. kitchen. The goal was to create a space that didn’t feel like a kitchen. When the light is right, the frosted glass on the counter-tops, cabinets, and sliding doors reflects the ocean.
You can see in the aerial view below (taken prior to construction) what a great piece of property this is.
