Living In Coconut Grove….

To many buyers (especially those coming from out of town) I am selling the “Grove lifestyle” and not just a home.  So what exactly is it like to live here? Here is a recap of my evening out in the Grove last night…..

My wife and I live just off of Main Highway in the South Grove.  We left our house around 8:00 and headed down the Commodore Bike Path into town which is about a 10 minute walk.  We decided to stop at Lulu’s for a drink first and took a seat right on the corner of Main Highway and Commodore Plaza.  Both Greenstreet and Lulu’s were slammed.  As we sat there for awhile enjoying the scene, the former New York Knicks Coach and current FIU basketball Coach Isiah Thomas stopped in for dinner.  He is a regular at Lulu’s.

After awhile we moved down the street to Bombay Darbar (some of the best Indian food in Miami) but stopped first at the neighboring wine shop to grab a nice Riesling to bring to dinner.  I have come to know the guys at Wine…Etc. quite well by now (probably not a good thing) and am very impressed by their selection of excellent wine priced under $30.00.  The experience at Bombay Darbar was spot on as usual, incredible flavors and attentive service.

As we walked past all the restaurants on our way home, the energy was in full swing in the Grove.   I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, we live in paradise.
