Here is a comment from one of our readers:
“I always love hearing real estate sales people… I get the impression they are all on drugs, so I find their views of the world hilarious.
(1) for years, as an industry, you’ve put forth the notion that offers under 10% to 15% of the price are “insulting”, yet now you are moaning about not being able to sell because a seller actually took that at heart and refused the all-cash offer
(2) It was a “great week”, but, what I see is
All I see is a bunch of 50% off sales. Not a great week.
I would say that real estate agents were responsible for 50% of the real estate bubble some people are living today. I would say that greedy owners were another 50%. But I still have to see real estate agents even recognize 1% of the blame.
My next house will probably be in the $1.2 – $1.5 mm range (where I live now) you can bet I will do this without a real estate agent.”
