Older Homes Still In Demand In Coconut Grove

Despite all of the talk about new construction homes dominating the Coconut Grove market, it is important to keep in mind that there are still many buyers out there who are looking for older style “Grovey” homes.  In fact, of the 170 homes that have sold this year, just 21 of them were new construction (12%). I would say that is also the same ratio of new construction homes to older homes that currently exist in the Grove today.

One of the reasons I love the Grove so much is because of its diversity, you can find a fantastic modern showpiece right next to a tiny shipbuilder’s cottage. I believe right now we have a good distribution of many architectural styles in the Grove and hope it stays that way.
