Double dipping in today’s real estate market
August 11th, 2008 categories: Selling Real Estate in Coconut Grove
Not all real estate markets are created equal. Coconut Grove has not seen the decline in prices that other areas of Miami have.
I have a client who is taking advantage of this discrepancy in the market. He currently has a contract on his house in North Coconut Grove. He is looking to buy a home in Pinecrest, where prices have fallen to 2004 numbers. Since Coconut Grove is a relatively stable market, my client is still able to see a return on his investment here, while taking advantage of the lower prices in Pinecrest.
In essence, he is double dipping.
He is getting the good prices here, and the good prices there.
I wish all my clients were this savvy when it came to investing.
